I don't even need to talk about it because this guy said it all. Sox don't get the cred they deserve, but that's OK, we're in first.

yea, that was an awesome game! I watched the double from the concession stand, but it looked really good! I'm happy for Thome - he's awesome and just an all around nice guy. it was an exciting game, too bad it was a big fat loser.

oh, and btw those are my fave uniforms. for some reason i really like the numbers on the leg as well. holy hotness white sox 1980's style!

Well, between the Cubs problem swinging the bats and Randy Johnson owning the Cubs (they are 0-13 lifetime against him) we have the start of another losing streak :( after a very short winning streak of one. Ugh!!

Mark Grudzielanek on the Royals got his 2000 hit last week also. I think it was about Sat or Sun. That guy has hit right around 300 ever since he was with the Cubs although no where near the homer amount of Thome - consistency. I think he has just under 100 homers.

oh, also in this game they honored Harold Baines with a bronze statue in the outfield. The Sox are wearing their jersey's from the 80's (I'm assuming because of the statue thing) and Jermaine Dye was taken out of the game after being hit in the knee with a pitch. The x-rays were negative so JD will be ok.

Yeah, Thomas Jones was good for us, but they drafted Cedric Benson and they didn't get along to well. Also for some reason Lovie had a hard on for Benson and wanted him to start...big mistake. Some day we'll have a running game, since we are a running team.

You know, 1st down - run, 2nd down - pass, 3rd down - pass, 4th down - punt.

really though a good moisturizer helps, unless you have naturally greasy skin and then you are set! ernie banks probably looks good because black people tend to have oilier skin. asians too. that's why i don't have wrinkles, probably also because i'm not old yet. either way the key to looking young is moisturized skin. the key to not looking fat is working out. =P

The Bears signed Kevin Jones for a one year contract. He was originally drafted by the Lions in 2004. I for one believe nothing good could come out of Detroit. That's why I have a VW, but I'm going to be optimistic, we had good luck with a Jones before.

Look at NL Western. Arizona is in 1st place at .500 and the Dodgers in 2nd at 2 games under .500. Does that make them mediocre or is it a tough division and they're playing a tough schedule? I don't know how reliable the record a team has is until it's the end of the season.

I was watching the Cubs game yesterday and Bob and Len pointed out that the three best records in the NL are all in the Central Division. This is pretty impressive change from last year.

Here he goes again. Hope his crystal ball is clear again. Rich Harden seems like he could be a good pickup if he can stay off the disabled list. I always had hope for Murton and Paterson but all they did was yoyo back and forth to the minors. Never developed the consistency needed. Who am I to question Hendry? His moves have been right on so far.
