Watching the Sox the last few days I think MLB ought to put a stop to the American League Central race and just declare the Tigers as the winners of the division. By the way they're all playing it's obvious none of the teams want to win it so give it to the team that has been supported the most by its fans. Here's the breakdown on the division's attendance figures for home games by percentage of the stadium's seats sold:
Minnesota 57.8
Chicago 75.3
Cleveland 62.5
Kansas City 49.0
Detroit 98.5

Just heard that Steve Stone is switching from radio to TV to do the color on Sox games. Have to see how that is. I think he's the best color announcer around, but can not bear to watch Harrelson.

what do we think about losing Nick Massett and Danny Richar to get Grif? I'll tell ya, it makes me think of how cub fans thought edmonds was done, and it's truned out to work in their favor. everyone says not to doubt Ken Williams, so all I have to say is that I hope Huston Street becomes a Sock to fill the hole Massett is leaving. =( harrumph.

I don't even need to talk about it because this guy said it all. Sox don't get the cred they deserve, but that's OK, we're in first.

Jim Thome just hit his 2,000th hit in today's game against the Royals. More amazing is that he has 525 Home Runs, that means every 4th hit is a home run.

Detroit Sucks! I don't like any team that plays against the Sox, especially the Detroit Tigers. I have a theory on why I have this special hatred for them. Growing up my Dad took me to a LOT of baseball games. The ones that I remember the most are the Tigers and the Twins. I don't like the twins either, but Detroit seems to bother me more. I think it has to do with the fans. Every game their seems to be buses of Detroit fan coming to Comiskey, I guess I would look for any excuse to get the hell out of Detroit too. The fans seem to be loud and obnoxious, and this is coming from a Chicago fan, but for some reason they irritate me.

Is Detroit everyone's least favorite team or just mine?

Yesterday the Sox played 11 innings against the Orioles and before they could start the 12th it was suspended because of the weather. I don't think Baltimore is scheduled to come back to Chicago this year. Does anyone know what happens in this situation?

is it nick swisher's white anchor on his chin?

mike macdougal's leprechaun look?

or is it bobby jenks' white, uneven monstrosity on the bottom of his chin?

or could it be boone logan and the black foliage decorating his chin?
