Yesterday the Sox played 11 innings against the Orioles and before they could start the 12th it was suspended because of the weather. I don't think Baltimore is scheduled to come back to Chicago this year. Does anyone know what happens in this situation?

I'm pretty sure it's rescheduled for sometime in August. It will resume as normal with the same batting order and fielders. You can change pitchers, but you can't use pitchers that played in the original game.

The field was turning into a lake, i'm surprised they let it go on as long as they did.

oh, hmm, i thought they said they would do it in june because baltimore would be in milwaukee the day before.

either way, it is so bogus! i mean - WTF? they are going to have people come back (like Dad) for what could be 1 inning?!?! it was pretty bad out but they should have just tried to finish.

I would hope they clump it with another game, maybe before the game so you get a little preview. Yes, I said clump.

from what I hear, it's going to be played in Baltimore, but we're still the home team. pretty weak.

What are you going to do? It's kind of a strange situation. Is it before the scheduled game? If it's before, is anyone going to show up early?
