This guy has always been a problem. On and off the field.

Looks like the media is trying to look at it more from a police brutality issue. I suppose it could be but you'd think the way the NFL is handling players with problems off the field, players would try to play it safer when dealing with the authorities to keep situations from escalating.

I defend Cedric's comment about not resisting arrest. I've never seen him resist before. Besides, the furthest he would go is 2.3 yards.

Ricker, I think you hit the nail on the head.

I looked it up and Cedric Benson's average last year was 3.4 yards, but when it needs to count he always under performs.

Doesn't matter now. With this latest DUI I can't see the Bears keeping him.

I thought I saw a new mug shot of him on the bar TV last night. I wasn't sure what the deal was. I hope you're right and they drop him. The only problem is that Lovie seems to have a hard on for this guy.

Did you see his mug shot in yesterday's Trib for his latest DUI? He had this stupid smirk on his face. Kind of stupid to be smiling after throwing your career away.

Well the Bears dumped him today. Didn't take them long. Guess they're getting the hang of dealing with these morons.

Thank God they got rid of him, now they have two positions to fill, RB and QB.

Good riddance to him. He started out crying that he was drafted by the Bears, held out bickering about his original contract, spent more time being injured, and preformed overall on a sub par level. I'm just sorry the Bears were stupid enough to keep him and get rid of Jones last year.
