Well the Cubs have tied their longest losing streak of the season last night. Let's hope that they can snap it tonight AND that they can keep their longest losing streak at 2 for the rest of the season.

Streak is over. They squeezed by with a lucky 7-0 victory :)

As bad as it felt during the beginning of May, the longest losing streak for the Cubs so far this season is still just 2 games!!

I just realized that if a team loses 2 games and wins the next one all season long, they'd end up with over 100 losses. I guess we better hope the Cubbies keep the losing streaks no longer than 2 while stringing some impressive winning streaks together.

Whew!!! Cubs stopped their losing streak again at 2. Let's see if they can string a bunch of wins together like the Sox have been doing.

Well here it is Jun 19 and the Cubs have extended their losing streak to a season high of 3. Hope they can stem the losses with some good play against the Sox.

The Ray's are a tough team, it's a shame that they are going to have to take another 3 losses against the White Sox before they get out of their losing streak.

Worst part of Cubs getting swept by the Sox was increasing their season long losing streak to 4 and still counting. Maybe they can end it tonight in SF.

So 4 is the longest streak? Not bad.

Well, between the Cubs problem swinging the bats and Randy Johnson owning the Cubs (they are 0-13 lifetime against him) we have the start of another losing streak :( after a very short winning streak of one. Ugh!!

Losing streak is up to two. Last time the Cubs lost 2 in a row is July 25 and 26.

OH NO!!!! Losing streak is up to 5 and real questions on Zambrano AND Hardin's arms are being asked.

Any word on Zambrano? Last I heard he was ducking his doctors appointment.

It's rotator cuff tendinitis. They're saying he should miss this next series in St Louis and be ready after that. Just have to wait and see. I don't understand why we don't hear anything about Hardin's sore arm.
