Well we had a 'Cubs losing streak' topic here for a while so since the Cubs just equaled their longest home winning streak in 40 years we should add this 'Cubs winning streak' section.

Hopefully this last win will develop into one long winning streak like the Sox are putting together and the thread will grow exponentially.

Winning streak is up to TWO and it's all that sweeter when it's courtesy of the Sox!!!

I guess Wood has to learn that you can't walk the first two batters in the inning.

Finally a win - hopefully starting another streak!! Seems like it took forever to get this win.

They're at 5 in their present winning streak. 4 games coming up with the Phillies then 3 with Houston. This could be tough. If they just play 500 ball until the end of the season they'll end up with 98 wins.

At least with the hurricane the winning streak won't be broken. Haha.

If the Cubs keep getting postponed it looks like Milwaukee will eliminate themselves!!

It is just the first game of the season but it sure looks nice to see the Cubbies in first place!
