Detroit - Hockeytown USA? Maybe, maybe not. If the Hawk fans continue to respond to the team like they have for most of this year, Chicago will be the new Capitol City of hockey. The fans will rock the house Wednesday against the Wings! Go Hawks!

We need a win! We need it, in order to have any chance in the playoffs.

LoL I find it funny that the Chicago crowd says Detroit RedWings suck when Chicago probably wont even make the playoffs again and probably wont make the playoffs next year either.I also find it funny joe that you think chicago is going to be the new capital city of hockey, chicago has a long ways to go to catch up with what the Redwings as an organization has accomplished 17 straight years making it into the playoffs longest run in sports history and chicago only has like 12 sell out this whole season. So if you think chicago is going to better than that your sadly mistaken.Chicago needs to win all 3 games left in the season just to have a chance to get into the playoffs and even if they do win all 3 games its not a given that they will get in because of Vancouver and Nashville are ahead of them in points and I dont see Nashville or Vancouver loosing 2 out of 3 games.

Hey Det - Detroit's 17 straight years making it into the playoffs longest run in sports history? Not hardly. As a matter of fact the Blackhawks had a run of 28 straight years of being in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Maybe the Wings have the longest current playoff streak. I don't know and don't really care. In your defense of Detroit being Hockeytown you brought up the crowd chant of Detroit RedWings suck. Does that mean the Detroit crowds are nicer to the Hawk fans? Just asking. And you brought up the teams' records this year, so touche. But I think if you go on record alone for Hockeytown USA, I guess maybe the last couple of teams city's to win the cup like maybe Anaheim, Raliegh, Tampa Bay or New Jersey qualify? I don't think so. So I'll rephrase the question. How much longer will Detroit be Hockeytown USA?
