It's understandable that the Cubs are not involved in the interleague play this weekend because they are in a league of their own!

Ha! Is that the offical word?

It must be. The schedule speaks for itself.

Looks like the Sox luck out with the upcoming interleague play. Except for the Cubs all their games are with sub 500 teams. The Cubs face teams at 500 or above.

The Cubs won and beat Toronto yesterday!! The Trib said it's the first time they've won on artificial turf since 2004 although I don't know how many times they've played on it since then.

It's almost here. The Crosstown Classic involving the beloved White Sox and the North Side Nine. Let the trash talk begin!

What's the predictions? Are the Sox going to sweep? Or...do you think the Cubs are going to win one?

I'm a little worried with the lack of run production the Cubs have been showing lately, but with all the runs the Sox have been scoring they could be pretty worn out by the time they get to Wrigley. Cubs 2 games to 1. (Be glad I give the Sox 1). Haha

I think the smell of urine was getting to the Sox. The Cubs used chemical warefare on them. :)

I hate to say it, but I think the Cubs are on to something. They are a good team. It was hard to tell before because they weren't really playing any tough teams, but since they swept a 1st place team (wince) they might have what it takes.

I think the Sox should have just kept their big mouths shut and played ball. Ozzie and his rats comments, the anniversary comments from Williams and the urine smell comments could only end up hurting them by possibly making the Cubs more focused. They seemed a lot more focused to me.

I'm kind of worried about all you Sox fans. If you keep holding your breath waiting in suspense for the upcoming series you might pass out. Jerry Reinsdorf's happy - he'll finally have a few sell outs.

What's the deal??? First game at Wrigley we had to put up with Hawk Harrelson announcing. I figured when they went to Sox park we'd have Len and Bob. Anything would be better than hawk!

Too late now, but the games were broadcast on both networks. You could have switched to Len and Bob if the cat's bird seat, you can put it on the board, he gone, etc. was getting to you :P

I'm glad it's evened out. I think they were a little too quick to eject Sweet Lou, but then again he should have known better to not go out there.

I thought Lou was stupid. He should know by now that you're going to get tossed arguing strike calls. He probably just needed a night off.
