I recently got offered to go in on some Blackhawks season tickets. I was offered a 1/4 season, two tickets in the 100 level. Sounds good right? The only problem is the price, $125 a ticket, that's $250 for the game. After drinks and some food I have to take out a home equity loan, and I thought gas prices were high.
I'm told that the Blackhawks are one of the cheaper tickets in hockey. Can you believe this ticket gouging!?!
Overall ticket prices seem to be skyrocketing, but people are still paying. And when the tickets sell out people to go to Stubhub.com or Ebay where the prices are even higher I guess there's no way around it, I just needed to vent.
